Good question.
Hmmm… it’s hard, I’ll tell you that. Firstly, I constantly have to “come out” to people that aren’t aware of it. I mean, I don’t broadcast it to the world - “hey fucking world, I’m a homo.” Also, I don’t flit around on my fairy wings… I dunno. I like to enjoy my videogames, stay home and be bored, and make out with girls when I’m drunk. So fack off.
But anyway. Like, I said, it’s very difficult. Not to mention that my parents don’t know… or at least don’t “officially” know. But as well, when I like a guy, I have to find out their sexuality, because most of the time, it’s always in the air. And I’m not attracted to the wonderfully dramatic gay boys, so you can kinda figure that most of the guys I’ve liked have turned out to be straight. Or at least, heavy in the closet.
All this is making it seem like I don’t like being gay, but I honestly don’t know how to answer the question. Assuming you’re straight, do you like being straight? Do you like liking girls/guys? It’s strange. I feel like I have the freedom to do more… unconventional things. I paint my nails. I obsess over fierce pop divas. I like saying “fierce” in regular conversation.
So… sure. I like being gay. It’s fucking hard, but you can’t change who you are, can you?
